ARMOURED DIRECT BURIAL CABLES

APPLICATION
Direct burial underground or ducts for high-speed voice, Data and Video communications and Long haul Telecommunications. Suitable for laying in areas subjected to rodent hazard.
MULTITUBE DESIGN
Tubes containing primary coated fibres stranded around a central strength member, filled with jelly, sheathed with P.E. An armour of corrugated steel tape between the inner and outer PE sheath provides the necessary strength required for Direct buried applications. New Minizip designs with tight buffered fibres upto 600 microns for simplex & duplex cables.
UNITUBE DESIGN
Loose tube containing fibres is jacketed with steel wire strength members embedded in the sheath OR Loose tube buffered with aramid yarn for strength sheathed with PE/LSZH, corrugated steel tape armoured overall PE/LSZH jacketed provides the necessary strength and protection.
Features
Unitube designs are for low fibre counts, having necessary strength & smaller diameters.
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
High Tensile Strength, high compression resistance (4000 N) and stability over temperature range of -200 C to +700 C.
In dry core design stability over temperature range of -40 deg. C to + 70 deg. C..
